What Skin Actives can do for your eyelids and eye area

First, let me tell you about some of the ways that eyes are special. We have to be careful not to irritate them and be very careful not to increase the chances of getting an eye infection. Styes, infections in the eyelids, are also very uncomfortable. Also, the skin of the eyelids and in the eye area is thin and gets thinner with age, making what happens in the capillaries below very visible. Eyes, like the lungs, are open to the environment and exposed to pollutants and irritants.

Skin Actives Triple Correction Eye cream
This is a complex serum for long term use that contains epidermal growth factor and retinol, plus all the nutrients required to prevent the skin in this delicate area to age and thin, preventing the appearance of wrinkles. There are also several actives dedicated to decrease the appearance of pigmentation that makes us look tired. There are also high and low molecular weight antioxidants to help fight Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS*) and other free radicals. A full spectrum of lipids will provide the essential fatty acids required by the cell membranes and for the skin to make an effective barrier against water loss and penetration of noxious substances. Caffeine will help with puffed eyes, and bisabolol will decrease general inflammation.

Use this sea kelp biofement-based serum for short or long term. Decrease inflammation and puffiness with bisabolol, sea kelp bioferment (the broth made by lactic fermentation of sea kelp). This serum will help maintain the skin barrier with actives like hyaluronic acid, sodium PCA and glycerin, and protect skin proteins from glycation with carnosine, palmitoyl tetrapeptide and epidermal growth factor. Epidermal growth factor contributes to the well being of the whole system.
This serum contains practically no lipids (it has lecithin) but still provides plenty of nutrition and energy producing power, like that provided by coconut endosperm, niacinamide, carnitine and more.
