Emulating Hanacure: a fast (and better) “hack”
What is all that noise about ugly masks? A protein or carbohydrate solution in water will dry as a film, tensing your skin and make you look ugly until you rinse it off. Benefits? None. A leave on serum will give more time for any active ingredients to make its way into the skin.
Hanacure all-in-one facial ingredients
Mask: Water, Carbomer (thickener), Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Leaf Extract, Yeast Beta-Glucan, Caffeine, Niacinamide, Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether, Hovenia Dulcis Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Honeysuckle Flower Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Peony Root Extract, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Rhus Semilata Gall Extract, Peach Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, p-Anisic Acid, Nicotinoyl Dipeptide-23, Nicotinoyl Dipeptide-22, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1.
Lifting Serum Ingredients: Water, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Benincasa Cerifera Fruit Extract, Polyepsilon-Lysine (preservative).
Emulating (doing it much better!) to get the effect: try SAS sea kelp coral or intensive recovery mask. After rinsing, follow with ELS serum. And you will get the benefits of sea kelp and all the fantastic antioxidants.
What you will not find in the SAS products: “label value” ingredients of unknown effects (Paeonia Albiflora (Peony) Root Extract, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Rhus Semilata Gall Extract, Prunus Persica (Peach) Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, p-Anisic Acid, Nicotinoyl Dipeptide-23, Nicotinoyl Dipeptide-22, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Benincasa Cerifera Fruit Extract, Polyepsilon-Lysine).
Incidentally, what do you expect to find in lotus leaf and peach leaf extracts, apart from chlorophyll? And, by the way, what’s all that about drinking green juice?
Note: you could add niacinamide, beta glucan, caffeine and more to SAS Sea kelp coral to bring in the few useful ingredients present in Hanacure. I don’t think it would be very useful because they will be washed away when you rinse it off. Best to include your favorite actives in a serum or cream that will be left on.
